In Spring 2020, Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry was excited to welcome a new dentist: Dr. Camille Gannam!
Dr. Camille was born and raised in the small mountain town of Truckee, California. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, and attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine to complete her dental school training.
Upon graduation, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, to further pursue speciality training in pediatric dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Simultaneously, she received her Masters in Dentistry certificate at The Ohio State University. During her two-year residency training, she gained extensive experience in sedation and hospital dentistry, complex management of maxillofacial injuries, emergency dental care, child growth and development, orthodontics and treatment of children with special needs.
After completing her residency, Dr. Camille moved to Denver, Colorado, to work as a dental attending at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Through research, teaching and clinical practice In Denver, Dr. Camille continued to hone her clinical skills and explore interests in child development and dental public health.
Dr. Camille is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is thrilled to be joining her long-time friend and close colleague, Dr. Gabe, in serving the kids and families of the Flathead Valley.
Dr. Camille is committed to a child-centered approach to pediatric dentistry, with the desire to create positive and fun experiences for children in the dental office. Dr. Camille is motivated by the dynamic, high energy, and multidisciplinary nature of pediatric dental care, as well as the opportunity to create and cultivate lifelong relationships with patients and their families. When not in the dental office, Dr. Camille loves spending quality time with friends and family and exploring her passion for the great outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, soccer, skiing, and traveling are among a few of her favorite interests!
