Dr. Jenn and Dr. Gabe attended pediatric residency at 2 of the top 10 children's hospitals in the country. Dr. Jen attended residency at Colorado Children's Hospital, ranked #9. And Dr. Gabe attended residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital, ranked #7. Dr. Gabe also serves as the pediatric dentist treating children for the Montana Cleft Clinic. He worked as the pediatric dentist at Nationwide Children's Hospital's 22q Center, which treats children with craniofacial anomalies including cleft lip and palate.
Gabe Dawson DDS, MS
Dr. Gabe is a 4th generation Kalispell, Montana native. After graduating from Flathead High School, he went on to receive his bachelors degree in Neuroscience at Montana State University, and dental school at the University of Washington in Seattle. In Seattle Dr. Gabe discovered his passion for treating children and made the decision to specialize in pediatrics. He attended pediatric residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital, ranked #7 in the country for Pediatric Hospitals overall and, #5 in the country for pediatric cancer. During his residency, he worked alongside the program’s world-renowned faculty and received extensive training in emergency care and trauma, orthodontics, dental sedation, general anesthesia, and care for children with special needs. Specifically, children with cancer, and advanced heart conditions. Dr. Gabe is a board certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Montana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Gabe can often be spotted enjoying the outdoors on a hike to his favorite spot in Glacier National Park, or swimming in Ashley Lake.
Jennifer Jackson DDS
Dr. Jenn was born and raised in Wisconsin. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Marquette University. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Jenn worked as an applied behavior analysis therapist for children with autism spectrum disorder. During her time as a behavior therapist, Dr. Jenn developed a passion for working with children, especially those who have special needs.
After two years as a therapist, she attended Marquette University School of Dentistry with the intention to specialize in pediatrics. Dr. Jenn completed her residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she gained extensive experience working with children who have special needs and complex medical histories. Dr. Jenn also has a strong background in dental trauma, moderate sedation, and general anesthesia. She is a current board candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
When she’s not at Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry, you can find Dr. Jenn running, snowboarding, and doing yoga. She loves hiking around the Flathead Valley with her husband, Tyler, and their two dogs.
